Virtual STEAM Programming! Every Wednesday in February from 4:30-5:30 p.m., Sedona Public Library and Science Vortex: Verde Valley present "Connecting Commu...nity with Science"! Check out the pictures from last week's virtual program, where we made SCRIBBLE BOTS!! Join us this Wednesday where we learn about OWL PELLETS! Materials are provided! Each lesson has a different topic and includes a challenge designed to strengthen children’s critical thinking, creativity, and perseverance. Lessons are designed for 8-12 year olds, but younger children with direct adult support are welcome too! SPL will contact you when materials are ready for pick-up. Materials are necessary to participate and a zoom link will be emailed as the date gets closer. These events are FREE but seats are limited and registration is required! Little Learners Lab sign is up!
Think like an ENGINEER! Get your STEAM Kit today at Killip School between 9 AM and 1 PM. Each kit contains materials and directions (in English and Spanish) to ...make four different bridges from recycled materials: a folded paper bridge, a rolled paper bridge, a sway bridge, and a truss bridge. Also available next week from 9-11 AM Monday through Friday, and at Fort Tuthill Extreme Course Saturdays on 9/19 and 9/26.
