Your vote matters! #takeaction #vote #nycvote #Repost @beamcenter Fannie Lou Hamer was a Mississippi sharecropper who lost her land after registering to vote. By committing her life to ensuring equal and fair voting rights for all Americans, Hamer received threats and attempts against her life, but also became a face, voice, and leader of an enduring movement. We honor FLH today and repeat, Nobody’s free until everybody’s free. #fannielouhamer #blm #mississippi #freedom #liberation #vote #ourchildrenourfuture #blackgirlmagic #womenempowerment
