This morning the Government of Hungary dedicated a statue in honor of the 41st President during a ceremony in Liberty Square in Budapest on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of communist rule in Central and Eastern Europe. The George & Barbara Bush Foundation is very pleased to announce that the Government of Hungary will be dedicating a statue in honor of the 41st President next week during a ceremony in Liberty Square in Budapest on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of communist rule in Central and Eastern Europe. The ceremony will include messages of greeting from former President George W. Bush, former Vice President Dan Quayle, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, as well as a special video performance by Texas A&M University’s Fightin' Aggie Marching Band a favorite of President Bush 41’s.
