It consists of a stage and five dolls made of papier mâché, fabric and wood: Garidas, Chanos, Koutoutsikos, Barba-Giorgos, Misilinis and Chitleridis. Greece, 1940s Nikos Akiloglou gave puppet shows at Zappeion in Athens. After the establishment of EPON (United Panhellenic Organization of Youth - Greek resistance organization), circa 1943, he gave shows on Karpenisi to help open schools there. There, in addition to the usual characters, he also used new characters Hitleridis and Misilinis. One of his most popular plays was Tsarouchonavmachia. When he came to Athens he performed puppet shows until 1947, without the Hitleridis and Misilinis puppets.
