Frequent visitors to our airshows will no doubt be familiar with our 8.8 cm Flak anti-aircraft gun. With all of its earlier demonstrations cancelled alongside our major events, we are inviting everyone to come and see a firing demonstration this Saturday at Noon! Tonight’s free Webinar Presentation is a collaboration with the Historic Wendover Airfield Foundation! Join Jim Petersen as he examines the history of this important base, detailing how it would once have looked, and how young airmen were trained to carry out a war in the air. Although #SummerOfFlight has ended, we have added a few more demonstrations to the Museum schedule! Join us this Saturday at Noon for a demonstration of our Argus Pulsejet Engine replica! This is the type of engine that was used to power the infamous V-1 flying bomb! We want to encourage all guests who will be attending the demonstration to bring earplugs or hearing protection with them! As always, demonstrations are weather and maintenance permitting. #DoodlebugDay #WW2

Halloween is fast approaching, and the Museum’s staff and volunteers are hard at work creating spooky and fun decorations for the trick-or-treaters who will be visiting during the Haunted Hangar event this weekend. Space is still available, and children under 12 wearing costumes will be admitted free, with parental supervision. #TrickOrTreat #Halloween #HauntedHangar
